Nothing

It is raining, cold, and miserable, and yes I found my way to a bar. This is hunker down and drink weather, I only had 3 beers, which is a minor miracle for me. 5 more days and it will be Christmas, Friday we head for W Texas, thank god we have good friends there, or I would go crazy.

6 Days

Yes, 6 days until Christmas, and that is all that is going on in the world. The house is decorated, the gifts are all wrapped, and most have been delivered. Right now it is time to relax and try to get ready for the travel. Texas last weekend (East Texas), West Texas this coming weekend, and then to Wyoming. I haven't calculated the mileage, but it is going to be well over 3000 miles in 3 weeks. If we didn't have Dillon that would still be ridiculous.

Christmas Light Looking

The title is how my wife refers to driving around and looking at Christmas lights. I love it, and we just did it (with friends, Dillon, and alcohol). I had the whole day with Dillon, and though moments were tough, and he can be trying, it was fabulous. I love him, and he kind of likes me.

This weekend was fabulous, a little trip to East TX for a company Christmas party, then we dropped by Fuego's house on the way back through Dallas. He bought Dillon a giant teddy bear, it is amazing. Dillon has been going through a shy faze, but not with Greg. Greg attracts everyone, he justs gives off an aura of friendliness, who knew? Dillon walks up to him and grabs his legs like it is his long lost aunt....

The old lady is in the shower, I should go in and molest her, but I think I'll give her the night off.

Presents

I am supposed to be the rock of the family, not wanting to unwrap presents early. This year I am having an extremely difficult time staying away from the presents, and as Dillon unwrapped one of my presents this evening (just to the box), I found myself hoping he'd figure out how to get it open and show me the shirt and tie on the inside!

I have no idea what Heather got me, and I am sure she knows exactly what I got her, but that is life. In least I shopped for the gifts and wrapped them all myself without her expressly telling me what she wanted....

Holocaust Disbelievers

I can't believe people have conferences and invite Holocaust disbelievers. That would be like having a conference and inviting people that don't believe the world is round. Though, seeing the world from far enough away to know that is round is not something everyone gets to do, so I can sort of understand that.

I have been to a concentration camp, and I will never forget some of the things I saw there. Though I hated going, I guess now I understand why the Polish people INSIST on taking people to those horrible places. No one should ever forget that one group of people tried to eradicate another group of people based on their beliefs.

I support everyones religion equally, by not supporting any of them. Though I will rarely attack (with any seriousness) any of them. So, a small group of Muslims in Iran will test me, but I won't fall. Though I have heard many valid points as of late about a few religions outside of Christianity that are starting to get on my nerves (and I hate every complimenting Christianity).

Drunk Again

Tanya wants to hear about the party, so anyone who remembers, chime in. I don't remember much past 10:30, that is my usual. I do remember trying to get EVERY GIRL to show her tits. How old am I? I think I even tried to get Greg to show his. Needless to say, I am very proud as usual. I am not the best drinker, but I do try to drink the most, not a good combination. Now it is back to the grind of the real world, and you know what, it isn't all that bad.

The party was a hit, we had some friends over, and we drank quite a little alcohol as usual. I went to bed @ 1, and folks stayed up until 2:30, that is what happens at my house. I go to bed, and people keep on keeping drinking.

Snow & Drinking

Another wonderful week in OKC, and to top it all off, it snowed. It snowed like it was Wyoming here, we may have got a total of 2 inches of snow, but it blew throughout the snow storm, resulting in drifts. Amazing, 2 foot deep drifts of snow, and when people started talking about them I had to hold my tongue because in Casper, it drifts over the top of 2 story homes when it snows.

So I drank, and smoked, for the first time in a long time, and I told Heather. I could have lied, but really, what would have been the point. She was mad, but I didn't drive home drunk, so she wasn't too pissed. Tonight we both drink, and maybe, just maybe, the Heather I remember from 8 years ago will show up. If she does, I'll write more.
